                                FINAL RESULTS

 

REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:

 

The University of South Florida and St. Petersburg Sailing Center combined

fleets to host the SAISA SP-4 regatta Saturday Dec 4, 2010. A warming trend

brought mild temps and a light southeasterly for most of the day. A 180 deg

windshift resulted in gustier westerlies for the afternoon. Races were sailed

in Bayboro Harbor, short W-L x 2 courses, with spectating from the seawall.

 

"A" division sailed FJs and "B" division sailed 420s, 8 races each. Fifteen

teams were registered. Winning team was HB Plant from Tampa, FL.

 

Thanks to SPYC head coach Todd Fedyszyn and coach Molly Doyle, and SPSC

staff, and to USF coaches, staff, and sailors Abby Featherstone and Greg

Schreiber. Host teams St. Pete HS and Lakewood HS provided pizza afterwards.
