Hi Tom, 
 
Attached you will find all of the final results for the SP5 Regatta held on 
January 21, 2012. 
 
SP5 was held at Ransom Everglades' Harry Anderson Watersports Center located 
in Coconut Grove, FL right on beautiful Biscayne Bay. Over 100 sailors and 
parents showed up from all over the state of Florida. The RE venue provided 16 
of the 20 420s used in this regatta. Shuttle boats made it possible for 
parents and other spectators to get a close up view of all the racing action. 
The RE Sailing Raiders Parent Booster Club provided both a fabulous breakfast 
and lunch for all to enjoy. 
 
The race committee consisted of Vickie Matthews (PRO), Fred Moffet (Finish 
Line), and Jen Fisher (Finish Line). The day was beautiful with light wind 
conditions of 3-5knts for most of the racing. Toward the end of the day there 
was a steady breeze of about 6knts to finish the races. Six races were 
completed per division, each lasting anywhere between 10-18 minutes. Our 
official score keeper was Stephanie Seoane. Our shuttle boat captain was 
George Florez. Our mark tenders were Alex Murari, Brian Kamilar, and Mark 
Pincus. Overseeing the regatta was Carlos Medina, director of the RE Harry 
Anderson Watersports Center. 
 
The top 3 schools from best overall, A division, and B division, earned nice 
trophies and plaques!
